Featured Designer: Alizabeth O
One of our newest additions to NewYorkDesigner.com is Alizabeth O. This is one of those lines that during the upload process, we’re secretly planning which styles will fit best with our personal closet.
We’re always a fan of ‘the bolder the better’ with very few delicate pieces in our stash. Alizabeth O brings the delicate into our sights. The line consists of finely tuned metal structures with bold adornments and colorful accents – a combo to compliment any girl’s chest of drawers.
And the designer is aware of the green factor, stating…
I send all my silver scraps in to be refined and reused. NO trash can! Plus broken stones and such don’t just get tossed – I like to use them in different art projects. It’s much better to refine the silver or get creative with the stones that “don’t make the cut” instead of just wasting them!

I have two of Alizabeth’s necklaces which she designed for me. As a minister, I don’t wear jewerly except for my necklaces that are crosses. She designed a simple but elegant silver cross with golden topaz (I don’t know much about stones, so she could tell you what she used! I just know they are beautiful) looking stones for me and a bloodstone necklace for me. The bloodstone represents the stone on the mount where Jesus was crucified and the red in it represents His blood which He shed for our forgiveness of sin. Both truly represent me and I am blessed that she knows me so well as to create these for me.
