So, here’s the deal. This is an excellent primer. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. It fills the lines. It creates a smooth canvas. It adds luminosity without being greasy. It is probably the best primer that I’ve used (high-end or low-end). But, and this is a BIG but…… it costs about $11 dollars for .5 ounces. Yikes! Sure, the high-end stuff costs considerably more, but I just can’t believe that L’Oreal can justify the price for this product. That being said, I will re-purchase until a less expensive, equally effective option presents itself.

I can think of a brush from a high-end brand that not only costs three times as much as this set, but also sheds like a Saint Bernard in August. Seriously. You can do better. And Cheaper. Not too shabby. The designers were hired to create custom three piece suits and a special range of pieces for the team’s various events. They’re also redesigning Chelsea’s director’s lounge and the club’s main reception area. This is going to be GOOD.

The Italian designers have signed the three year deal with the club, meaning players such as John Terry, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole will be dressed in exclusive suits created by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.

The blue suits are teamed with dark blue shirts, and a matching tie, while casual clothes including blue denim jeans have also been gifted (all colors representing the historic team colors). The boys will also receive a D&G carry-on travel bag to tote around all the goods they just scored.

In addition to the players receiving suits, managers, coaches and other male staff at the club will also get formal outfits while women will receive a pair of black high heels and a matching-coloured trench coat.

Player Daniel Sturridge said: “Dolce & Gabbana are top class designers, everybody knows them world-wide and it’s beneficial for the club that we have a brand on the same level as we are.”

The Pretty Green Carnaby Street temporary store will be opening tomorrow on Friday 30th July. Liam Gallagher’s line, Pretty Green, has continued to impress the London locals over the course of its last three collections. The gist of the line? A combination of high production values and classic looks spun with street-style acumen.

We like the option on the website for the US market, including free shipping. Know that a line referencing high production values will show in full force when you click your shopping cart button. At $70 for a tee and $900 for a blazer I may be so bold to ask that Liam deliver it and sing a tune at my door.
The jackets ($175) and hats ($30) reflect great style and may be a bit more accessible to a wider market.

Our favorite piece is the Khaki Parka #1 (Cotton; $490).
Product: Essential Tank

Ann Taylor Loft is my go-to place for classic, essential pieces. The clothes there may not be cutting edge or terribly original, but they ARE of good quality and very reasonably priced. Besides, sometimes you want a basic, button-down, white shirt the way sometimes only a dish of plain old vanilla ice
cream will do.

Recently I picked up a few of their skinny strapped essential tanks, and I’ve been living in them all summer. Made of super-soft cotton, the tanks fit beautifully and wash very well. They look great worn alone or layered. Best of all, they are only ten dollars each. <a href="http://www.anntaylorloft.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=23984&N=1200005&categoryId=204&pCategoryId=3359&gridSize=sm&Ns=CATEGORY_SEQ_204&Nty=1&No=30&loc=TN&defaultColor=White&defaultSizeType=Regular"" target="_blank"> Visit the website and feast your eyes on the wide range of neutral and vibrant hues. Oh, and get this: FREE SHIPPING ON EVERYTHING (for a limited time only).
