I think I’m in love with Maidenform. So maybe they’re not the first company to come to mind when you think of sexy lingerie. But, if you want high quality, functional, affordable, every day pieces, I don’t think anybody can beat this company.
I’m a fairly new convert to shapewear. I began wearing it after the birth of my first son. Because I didn’t know any better, I shelled out big bucks for Spanx. Now that I have a bit of a shapewear education, however, my go-to company is Maidenform. I’ve already written of my love for their Control It briefs. Now I must sing the praises of their Flexees One Fabulous Body Camisole.
The camisole is seamless and tagless and, as quality shapewear should, it is undetectable under clothing. The piece has molded cups and an underwire that provides shape. Simply buy or order your bra size. The camisole is supposed to eliminate inches from your silhouette. I’m not sure if it necessarily does that, but it certainly does smooth and shape and optimize the fit of your clothes. I’d give it five stars if it only lifted the girls just a tiny bit more!
