Brand: Revlon
Product: Super Lustrous Lipgloss

I’ve been experiencing what I can only call a Revlon Renaissance. Once a L’Oreal lipstick devotee, this winter I’ve fallen back in love with Revlon lipsticks. Many moons ago I wore Revlon’s Berry Rich exclusively. Then, I became caught up in what I refer to as the Elaine Benes craze. I traded in my berry stained lips for a coffee color kisser a la L’Oreal’s Sandstorm. It was hard to pull off brown lips, but damn if I didn’t love L’Oreal’s lipstick formula.

This winter I bought several Revlon lipsticks on Bogo and rekindled my love. So much so that at the latest Walgreen’s Bogo I branched out and purchased some Super Lustrous lipglosses. I have not been disappointed. There is a tube for everyone. With thirteen colors, some with sparkle, some without, every girl can find the tube for her. Worn alone or over a lipstick they add polish and shine. The consistency is damn near perfect. No goop, no goo. Packaging suckers like me will love that they look like Chanel’s Uber-expensive Glossimer glosses. However, at about $7 for a .2 ounce tube, Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipgloss is a much more frugal option.

Product: Superlustrous Lipstick in Black Cherry

As you are out and about returning those ‘what were they thinking?’ goodies, don’t forget to treat yourself and your kisser to a brand new lippie. You’ve been extra good this year. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone a bit and pick up something dark and dramatic. Just keep your eyes neutral and you’ll knock them out at that holiday thingy you’re going to.

I suggest Revlon Superlustrous lipstick in Black Cherry. Just like the universally uber-flattering dark honey, it’s Goth-black in the tube. Swipe it on however, and watch yourself be transformed into a film noir femme fatale. This moisturizing gem has a huge color payoff that lasts and lasts. For roughly five bucks it is a small investment in high glamour.

Product: Superlustrous lipstick in Red

Christmas is the word on everyone’s lips, so why not paint your lips with
the color most associated with the holiday? Red!

I’m loving Revlon lippies lately, and I’m loving the idea of a bold red lip this Christmas. This sumptuous brick red is perfect. It’s not too orange and not too blue making it, I think, universally flattering. It provides gorgeous, full, matte coverage.

It’s a little Christmas miracle at about $5 a tube!
