Milan Fashion Week

DG largeDo Dolce & Gabbana ever have an off-day? Nope. As they closed out Milan Fashion Week, we saw a peek into what styles we can expect to see slathered across stores everywhere come September.

We love us some D&G and embrace the whole world dressing in such style. The only problem in this equation…they have the skills to make a lingerie-look work and are assuming all consumers do too. hmmmm…You see where I’m going? Ladies, this is a look that should come with instructions. If you’re going to do it, rock the whole thing out and do it right.

Thank you Domenico & Stefano! LOVE.

A little D&G and Versace for your Thursday morning. Why is it so cold so fast in NYC?
Anyway, cowgirl travels to the big city. That seems to be the underlying theme at D&G for Spring 2010. Thoughts?
We recognize the laziness of today’s post, but we’re running beyond late and still have to pack for our flight. In case we can’t steal some internet time while away, we send our Happy Weekend thoughts out to all now!

DG6Why do we always gravitate toward the uber-tart look? And no cheapy uber-tart, mind you. The one with an unlimited budget. You know, the looks that require the equivalent of two month’s NYC rent for a cami. However, if not done right it may look like you walked out of a trailer park rather than a downtown studio. That’s where it gets tricky.

Enter our beloved Dolce & Gabbana *sigh*. We could do coverage of their line every day and never tire of it. Oh how we wish we could afford to scoop up the full SS09 line. The only style we’re not fond of is the denim dress look. It’s a personal thing, but if we’re going to wear denim (which isn’t often) we prefer it be limited to our bottoms.

On with the D&G lovefest…
