paris fashion week

Dior 1Galliano never disappoints. When everything he touches seems to be inspired by theater, Dior is the go-to designer when sneeking a peek at the Paris Couture shows this week. In full JG form, the line blends an Equestrian look with whips, tulle and jewels – and it works. Of course it works. It’s John Galliano for Dior at the Paris Couture shows.

And one of our all-time faves…Mr. JPG, we heart you. Plan to see Mexican-inspired prints and bags filter through commercially after the Gaultier show yesterday. Models balanced the largest of sombreros while gliding down the catwalk to mariachi music.

We apologize in advance for the lax commentary this morning but we are lucky to have had ten minutes to shower & get dressed. (and we really should have used this posting time for our morning hair time – it’s not looking good!) Today is a running day – from one eventful meeting to the next and it will all crumble if we’re late to the first.

Enjoy the pix below. And of course…more to come
