SIR IVAN, aka PeaceMan, is the rock star superhero fighting for peace via the reinvention of 60’s hits with a new vibe called “rocktronica”. After leaving his mark in the dance industry with multiple hits and etching the term “technippy” in all their raving minds, PeaceMan now has his eye on the rock/pop music arena.
After catching his video, a cover of Buffalo Springfield’s For What It’s Worth, we needed more info on this guy. You see, we’re from the rock side. So after digging deeper, we felt it our blogging duty to pass along more info on Sir Ivan. Turns out it’s very possible that PeaceMan has crossed your path at some point. With multiple Top 40 Billboard hits, appearances on VH1, NBC, SciFi & the Travel channel, he is certainly no stranger to the world of music and celebrity.
He’s everything music, fashion and NYC all rolled into one. And the cherry on top is that he’s a humanitarian, creating The Peaceman Foundation which supports an array of charities dedicated to fighting Hate Crimes and treating the victims of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
This couture cape wearing, former bajillionaire banker, could single-handedly bring the sentiment of the Woodstock era classic rock genre to the current glowstick toting generation of today. (Sir Ivan is known to don his own 15” glowsticks). And did we mention he lives in a castle? Doesn’t this sound like the writings of a children’s story, rather than a fashion/music blog? Banker by day, music super hero by night. Dun DUN DUN…PeaceMan saves the world, one re-mix at a time; and it’s all because of the super-hero special powers that live in his diamond encrusted peace-sign. Yes children, the one that was hand-stitched to his couture velvet cape in the ateliers of Paris!
ZIP ZAP BAM, back to reality, Sir Ivan is on to something. While creating music with a poignant message, he’s accomplishing it through a memorable approach. In addition, Sir Ivan is donating 100 percent of his recording artist net profits from his album to the Peaceman Foundation. We need more Sir Ivans in this non-superhero world!
