CHANEL will introduce “Les Trompe L’Oeil” Temporary Skin Art as a limited edition design. This is based on the temporary tattoos that global creative director Peter Philips designed for their Paris runway show. Each pack will contain five sheets (with 55 total designs included in each) and starting in mid February they will be sold for $75.00 from Chanel.com.
Fashion houses such as Rodarte and Jean Paul Gautier also featured tattoo inspired body art on their spring 2010 runways. more

Project Runway Returns to NYC ; Contestant Pamela Ptak is one of our faves…During Ptak’s audition, Runway design mentor Tim Gunn said her garments were the most beautifully constructed ones he had ever seen.

“I think you are on the cusp of something big,” he told her in this season’s casting session, which you can watch on Lifetime’s Web site. After a somewhat dismal first season on the women’s network, Runway’s second attempt, which brings the designers back to the Big Apple, seems to feature engaging designers who clearly are much more interesting to watch. more
