Instead, we’re bringing you something you can check out from the comfy spot of your laptops while sipping your hot cocoa. It’s World of Good, the company that Ebay partnered with to bring a broader fair trade movement to the U.S.
The cool thing about this (in addition to 10% of the $$ going back to the community) is that it’s not just one group. There is a wide variety of Fair Trade groups belonging to the World of Goods community, offering the shopper a plethora of goods to choose from. And as you shop, you’ll see a little blurb about the artist, community, locale, materials used and the background on that particular group.
