PRODUCT REVIEW

Brand: Maybelline
Product: Great Lash Big

Why do I always feel the need to stray from a really good thing?  No, I’m not talking about my man.  He still makes me deliriously happy.  I’m talking about mascara.  When will I learn that no mascara can satisfy me the way Covergirl Lashblast can?  I should have known.  I don’t care how many celebrities and beauty editors rave about the original Great Lash.  It sucks. Period.  Great Lash Big also sucks.  It sucks big time.  It’s the same sloppy wet formula with a bigger brush.  It provides no fullness,  no definition and it smudges like mad.  At $4.63, it’s cheap.  However, there are so many fabulous, inexpensive mascara options out there *cough* LashBlast *cough*, there’s no need for any girl to settle down with a Great Lash of any kind.

Cut Costs Cuties!

Project NYD logoProject NYD (our charitable division) now has a clothing line in pre-production, with plans for expansion into additional product lines.

As our latest venture has begun to take shape, many have asked where to find details as we move forward. Well, this is it! Updates will be incorporated into our blog, Twisted Knickers, but we’ve also created a homepage button making it easy to follow along.

This is the project…

Project NYD, our charitable division, now has a clothing line in production (with plans for expansion into additional product lines). Products under the ProjectNYD umbrella are creating jobs for impoverished young women and men in the most depleted areas of Ethiopia. Our team members receive occupational training, at least three times the standard minimum wage, preventive medical care, HIV testing and if needed, HIV treatments.

Ongoing training will guarantee a global sales appeal and the quality our customers demand. Without YOU, our brand would not be possible.

Our products won’t change the world, but they will bring hope to a few living in it.
